LegendaryPro24 Posted January 29, 2008 Report Share Posted January 29, 2008 I have a problem where my windows explorer keeps on crashing whenever I open and then close any folder that uses explorer, e.g.; Computer, Control Panel, Documents, etc.. This problem started when I tried to install an update to iepro7 during which another component crashed. I've tried everything; replacing Shell32.dll, installing updates from knowledge base articles etc. but none of it works. I definitely don't wan t to format my hard drive. Please help. I believe the explorer.exe is corrupted. Is there any way I can replace it? I mean like putting my Windows Vista CD in and going to certain folder to copy and paste it in windows? Also I'll include data from a few crash reports. Thanks.
