Path to your file is too long

Hi folks

I really need some wisdom here - I am foxed and so is my Host, by a windows alert that occurs

when a user is attempting to upload a file to a folder on a website, using the AspUpload component installed

on the server. I have used this approach successfully many times before on other websites.

After browsing to a file on the hard drive (about 100 characters long in total) and clicking the

UPLOAD button there is instantly an alert message that pops up (Firefox browser)

"The page at xyz.com says: The path to your file is too long. Please move it to the desktop

and try again" IE shows the same message but leaves out 'the page says..'

The baffling thing is that exactly the same approach on a different website works fine.

Persits (the maker of ASPUpload, says 'not our script). I am not sure where to look next

Please help!

Thanks

Clive
