turnni1 Posted February 7, 2008 Report Share Posted February 7, 2008 Im on a Lenovo R61 thinkpad running vista business.But from what I've already read that doesnt matter much.Ok.....Whenever I OPEN ANY FOLDER even control panel or my computer, explorer.exe crashes.Also whenever I open iexplorer, explorer crashes, however, firefox doesnt crash explorer.Now PLS dont ask me to 'oh go to control panel and click add/remove pro..........' CAUSE I CANT OPEN A SINGLE FOLDER.Ive had this for a week now and its driving me up the wall, and I cant see a single answer thats relevant to me.List of ALL programs i have:DiskeeperTiger Woods PGA Tour 06Gimp 2 (like photoshop)Lavasoft antivirusLimeWire (i admit)MelodyneNorton Internet SecurityMultimedia center (thats all it says its called)Microsoft office 07Microsoft SQL server 2005PC doctor 5Registry MechanicSibeliusSkypeWarcraft 3WinRARand thats it.UPDATE: windows.exe only crashes on my original user, on another user i just made, it doesn't crash.
