Guest ellas Posted January 12, 2003 Report Share Posted January 12, 2003 just reading up about the reg optimser got this quote from jv16 himself "There's no need to do the scanreg trick to "compress" the registry in XP or in Win2000, these OSes do the same thing automatically. XP does this in its idle time, I don't know when exactly Win2k does it but I have heard that it also automatically removes the empty spaces from the registry"hmmm think I may leave it.
