Gagaman Posted February 17, 2008 Report Share Posted February 17, 2008 Does the usb drive work on another computer??If so, you could try this on your pc:Go into your device manager: right click on my computer > propertires > hardware > device manager (assuming Win Xp SP2) scroll down into that list until you find USB controller, select uninstall driver, then reboot your computer. That will uninstall the USB controllers driver, which could be causing the problem, and when you reboot, it will or at least should automatically install drivers for it again. Bobby Posted February 17, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 17, 2008 i remember that i chose not to use the safely remove device because i rembered that i usually have the policies set optimize for quick removal and well i think i had changed the settings on the one so i think that it might be broke.
