jamesdude
It is fairly easy to change the screen resolution through the registry, but it seems to require a reboot. Is there any way to make it active immediatly? I want to change the screen resolution through registry modification and have it effective immediately. If you change the resolution using the GUI it changes immediately, so why not through the registry?I am running XP Pro.Thanks,James
Scarecrow Man
http://www.aksoftware.tk/QRes can do it via command line. I'm not sure if it can be done without a third party application such as this one.
