Mike567
I used to have a win 3.0 image (iso) but I can't find it now I was really planning on testing it out.But yeah you will not find win3.0 anywhare I was lucky to find it, I would have to say your best bet is youtorrent.com.I'm not sure if its still illegal to download that OS, as I recall some of the old Apple OS's went open after they became out dated, but to tell the trouth no one will care about a pirate copy of win3.0 its not like MS make money from that OS anymore.Sorry I couldn't be more help, I would just say if you want a simple system for your kids, you can test out edubuntu or even install xubuntu and install some games you can get sage emulators I believe for the OS. Mike567
I really don't know.I believe it's possible but I really don't have a clue on how it is done, sorry. If this is a old computer your installing it on you might not even be able to boot from a removable drive unless you update the BIOS. catgate
Well that answers a question.I used to think that M$ Paint only recognised .bmp, until one day I found it recognised .jpg. It must have been a later M$ Paint that came with W95 or W98 that did it.Good luck.
