Brazzan
In a few month a new server will be bought with the purpose of handling the heavier applikations in our environment. The current setup is as follows:#Server 12000 standard serverAD - shares with server #2DC - shares with server #2#Server 22000 standard serverAD - shares with server #1DC - shares with server #1DHCPTape backupAll our applikations and filesThe new server, which is going to use 2003 Standard... is going to (we hope) take over all the heavy processes from Server #2. But the thing is, we still want our current servers continue working for us. We want the old ones to run AD, DC and DHCP... and let the new one be dedicated to applikations and filesharing. My questions are- How do we work out the licenses for 2003? I meen, do we still need all those client/device licenses ? (There are about 20 users)- As you may have figured out, we want to keep our servers because of redundancy. Can we do that, or do we need to include AD,DC on the new server to?There are many more questions, but lets start with these.PS. Im Swedish and there for my spelling and grammar might be off :)
