dawgfish Posted March 4, 2008 Report Share Posted March 4, 2008 I recently purchsed an HP DV6600 laptop with Vista as the O/S. Just about everytime I use the computer it locks up. Either the screen goes black and gets stuck or yellow or green or orange diagonal lines cover the screen. If the lines appear I can press the power button to put the computer into sleep mode and then press the mouse button to bring it back and the lines disappear. If the screen goes black, I have to do a hard power down and restart. I have an nividia graphics card and I have heard there may be a problem with the drivers for it.
