Ashley Posted March 8, 2008 Report Share Posted March 8, 2008 I have a dell inspirion 6400, 160GB HDD, 2GB RAM, 1.87ghz Dual-core Intel CPU on Windows Vista Home Basic.I was wondering if it will be capable of running Ultimate, and if it is will there be a significant Performance Decrease.Thanks in Advance. Ashley Posted March 8, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 8, 2008 Hm... okay then thanks, I've got the system restore disk, and drivers and stuff so i might just do it, and if it goes to slow then downgrade....But 512 does sound a bit low... surely it needs at least 1gb to run well? It looks like your notebook meet most of the requirements for Vista Ultimate. However, I'm not sure whether your graphics card meets the requirement or not. You can check yourself. I marked up the requirements for you, yellow ones means good, brown one means I'm not sure.
