Faisal
I have just changed my CPU , got new processor, motherboard ram etc. I installed Windows XP (SP2) without any sort of problems. Now when I am running windows and I try to run some application (like Windows Live Messenger setup etc) it suddenly disappears from screen. I press Ctrl+Alt+Del and the task manager appears for few seconds and disappears. This is happening with all applications , though I can sometimes see the application's name in task manager but it is not appearing on screen , neither any tab on taskbar.Apparently I thought it would be problem with Windows. So I changed disc and installed windows from another new disc but same problem is occuring. Now is this kinda hardware problem or what ? With graphics card ?I am running Intel Pentium 4 processor and 1 GB ram !
Dencandy
Faisal, can check your hard desk and all its sectors with CheckDisk? You can do this in Safe Mode- My Computer>Rt click on the disk/partition with Windows on, then> Properties> Tools> Error Checking.
