Run program on resume from hibernate/standby?

Recommended Posts

I was just wondering if it was possible to make a program execute automatically upon resume from hibernate and standby. More specifically, I have written a script to start the RMClock utility to apply some settings to stop CPU whine on my laptop, and then quit the program so it will not use system resources all the time. However, if I hibernate or standby my system, the settings are removed and not re-applied on startup. I just want to find a way to make my script run on resume.

I do not have any experience with programming. The program I am talking about here is someone else's program, I have just written a script in order to make it run the program, and then make it quit when the system starts. The setting it applies is deleted on system standby/hibernate, and I want to make the PC run the script when it comes out of either of these modes.
