Hi Guys

Just a thought, is there a software package out there (Freeware preferably) that can wipe Windows (any Version) back to default. Remove all profiles and any other added software. with out having to do an entire rebuild from the MS disk itself. Even better if you can select certain files to keep.

I know, a long shot.

Interesting question! I don't know of such a tool, but I can imagine that it might come handy at times. Let's see if any other members have some idea

I first thought that an Acronis backup might be restored to the original Windows installation, but that's not really what you want. You want of course the most current Windows with all the service packs and updates.

Acronis was my first thought, and i did have a play around...but na.

if u hav windows vista, then u would get complete PC backup, which completely restores the computer to the moment u first got it, or there is factory backup or something which i think completely restores your computer to factory status, which i take to be no programs or software whatsoever
