I'm using a Windows XP Professional Machine with the following Configuration

Operating System - Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2

Hard Disk - 80 GB

RAM - 256 MB

Processor - Intel Pentium 4 - 3 GHz

Sound Card - RealTek AC'97

The problem i'm facing is every time i restarted the machine the sound card is not working and when clicking on the volume control bar it throws this error message "NO ACTIVE MIXER DEVICES AVAILABLE GO TO CONTROL PANEL AND CLICK ON ADD HARDWARE".I have to uninstall and install the device driver to make it work. Can anybody suggest me an appropriate solution.

Arun.
