Trouble mappping network drive on Windows XP

Dear all,

First, sorry for my poor english and this is also my 1st post here...

I'm having trouble with my Windows XP (I'm using Win XP Professional SP2) espescially when i'm mapping another computers drive on my computer (another computer is using Win 2003 Server). At first, all is OK! but usually about 1 or 2 days later, that network drive on my computer disconnected by itself, and i failed when i try to reconnect it again, altough the problem solved when i restart my computer. :(

What i want to ask:

1. What is the problem actually?

2. How to make that network drive never disconnected again?

I have several mapped network drives on my computer; and I have never lost one.

1. How do you originally map the drive - through Windows Explorer?
   
2. Can you find anything in the Event Viewer that would indicate how the drive gets lost?

If this is indeed the error that is causing your situation, then it is a (temporary?) problem with the domain name server. Sorry, I have no idea how to fix this.

When this happens next time, can you check again if you find the same error shortly before the mapped drive disappears?
