no CD/DVD drivers

Hi all

I have a big problem and I don't want to reinstall Vista. I had drive X: (logical DVD-RW drive) and drive T: (a virtual drive), my problem is that in disk managent window i have only my HDD drive and my DVD drive is missing...

I restarted in safe mode, cange user and still no luck

Can anyone help me????

Have you had a look in Device Manager ti see if it is listed in their.

Start | Control Panel | System and Maintenance | System | Device Manager (Device Manager is located under "Tasks" in the left hand column of the "System" menu).

If it is listed, right click the drive , left click uninstall then reboot your computer and let it re-install the drive.
