paicanuck Posted April 28, 2008 Report Share Posted April 28, 2008 I just transfered all of my photos from my old laptop onto my new laptop. My old laptop had XP, which I loved. The Windows Picture and Fax viewer had the drag and drop feature. On Vista Windows Photo Gallery, there is no way, that I can see, to simply organize my photos in the order I would like to place them. During the transfer from 1 laptop to the other all of my pictures were rearranged and all of the names I had given them weren't used in the different format. So now I have thousands of photos in no particular order with no information about them except jpeg number, size and date taken. The Tag feature is very tedious and still doesn't allow me to group photos within a tag. I have also tried re-numbering the jpeg number. I have also tried using PictureProject but I cannot drag and drop them there either. Any one know of any program that will allow me to easily organize my thousands upon thousands of photos?
