BackNine29 Posted May 3, 2008 Report Share Posted May 3, 2008 Installed a third party utility program and I am now receiving Blue Screen Registry error: "Can't load file: \SystemRoot\System32\Config\Software, log or alternative". (Lesson learned).I am cannot boot to safe mode or to command prompt. Norton Rescue Disk startup returns to this Blue Screen error message. Need help how to correct error or how to acces registry to edit so system can boot.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Not looking forward to system re-install.
