I have two different partitions on the same hard drive both with windows XP installed on them. After about two months of this I realized I'm only booting into one of them. so why do I need the other one. so I want to get rid of it and add the extra space to my other partition. Unfortunitly the one I want to get rid of is the C:\ drive and is where I believe all the boot info is stored on. how can I delete this drive and still be able to boot up?- John Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Panarchy Posted May 9, 2008 Report Share Posted May 9, 2008 All the boot info is stored on the C:\?Then just move it to your current drive.I'd recommend using GParted (I use Acronis, but it aint free) for the partitioning.You can't delete the drive that you boot into as it's the drive you boot into (you can delete it, but it'd be a bit stupid)Panarchy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
