Low Disk Space

Hi

i rebooted my computer but ever since i have got this error coming up saying i have low disk space when i havent even got anything installed on my computer yet.... i was trying to install microsoft windows xp pro but it said i wasnt allowed because i have low disk space

why can this be when i have nothing on my computer..but yet there is something taking up space...please help

When you go to install your fresh XP, you need to delete the other copy. It will show you any other windows installs, highlight it and press D to delete that partition. Then create a new partition and format it.

Obviously remove anything important before hand.

Might be worth having a look at your disk management service & see if there is anything unusual there:

Open your run command and type "diskmgmt.msc"

Failing that a program called HD Cleaner has a great file tree browser that shows you where your disk space is being taken up - http://hdcleaner.en.softonic.com/

I'm no techie but I hope that helps ;)
