sharing files with multiple users with administrative security

Hello,

I am simply trying to share a folder from my documents (my pictures folder) with other users that I have set up with administrative level security. For some reason, I can view their documents, but they can not view mine. I've tried doing the shared folders thing, but it doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?

I assume that the other users are on the same network. If you set up a shared folder, then the other users should be able to access it. What happens if they try?

Hi Pat,

Yeah, the funny thing is that I am not talking about networking with multiple computers. Simply, I log in to my computer and throw pics in My Pictures, then later my wife will log in (at the same computer) as a separate user with administrative level security, but can not access my documents. I can see all of her documents from my login, but she can't access mine. I can't remember the exact error off the top of my head, something about lack of priviledges, something like that. I can look later tonight.

Thoughts?

Have you actually given the other users permission to access that folder? If so, how have you done that.

If I were do share a folder with other users (on the same computer, or on a network), I would right-click on it, then 'Sharing and Security'.
