The problem most likely in that case is that the disk you have is not a copy of Windows but a disk made by the computer manufacturer to reinstall Windows from a hidden partition on the original hard drive. This disk may well contain other things such as the Symantec Ghost that you say is trying to load.If you didn't make a Ghost image the only thing to do, as far as I know, is to contact your supplier and get them to sort it out or, buy a copy of Windows (which I'm sure you won't want to do).
