multiplex77 Posted May 22, 2008 Report Share Posted May 22, 2008 Hi all,When I unplug my LAN cable from my laptop and plug it back later (with the laptop still on), I often have difficulty accessing the Internet. The same thing happens if the network connection goes down temporarily.My connection to my network file server is fine, but I have to wait about 20 mins before the connection to the Net is restored. However, if I reboot my system, the connection is restored immediately.Is there anyway I can restore the Net connection WITHOUT having to reboot?I'm on Windows XP Pro SP3.Thanks for the advice.
