DanSandbergUCONN
Hi All - I'm sure the following is trivial and I apologize for the stupid question. I am a mac guy by trade but recently I needed to make use of a windows-only program. I have a Linux machine that I plan on partitioning and I obtained a copy of windows XP from my boss (we have a site license). I duplicated the CD, as my boss needed his copy back and now the copy I made does not seem to be bootable. I can mount the disk onto my Linux desktop and browse the contents but I cannot boot from it. Any suggestions? Thanks,Dan
-pops-
Windows Forum cannot be seen to be party to anything even remotely illegal. Even if what you want to know is not illegal per se, I have not investigated it in depth, there are instances where such information could be used for nefarious purposes.I am thus locking this thread.
