dinosaw Posted May 26, 2008 Report Share Posted May 26, 2008 Hi, i have a network..(in the attached picture) but a problem..the problem is i cant get the DVR pictured to connect with software..The DVR is a camera monitoring ssystem with LAN capability...my question is..it asks for a DEFAULT GATEWAY, but i have already setup a gateway for my 3G Modem? so do i make it the same? make it different? i made the ip address different on the network too all other devices connected? please help me..thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

dinosaw Posted May 26, 2008 Author Report Share Posted May 26, 2008 it just doesnt connect..i connected direntcly to it with a laptop and network cable to it...gave it a default gateway and then manualy configured the TCP/IP setting for the connection on my laptop to match that of the DVR the gateway etc...different IPS..and that worked? jst cant get it going through the SWITCH??thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
