Posted May 29, 2008 Report Share Posted May 29, 2008 I would be grateful for some advice Re-Updates.I downloaded and installed some important and reccomended Vista updates which are now showing has having been installed succesfully.The next day I was advised of two further updates but noticed that one was exactly the same as one already installed KB947562.Should I uninstall the first update and then reinstall the new one.Im thinking that If I dont it will continue to be shown in new updates list.Or is there another way I can resolve this. -pops- Posted May 29, 2008 Report Share Posted May 29, 2008 I'm not a Vista user but what I would do with XP is a System Restore (or restore from backup) to a time before any of the "problem" updates were downloaded and then allow them to download afresh.
