Mikey666
How do I choose to boot my PC from Master HD or Slave HD? I don't want to open up the case and swap the wiring any more. Can I COMBINE the two, running installed apps on old disk while booted from my new one?
Boris
This tells you how to create a multiple-boot system (using XP)http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306559
Mikey666
Much appreciated. I will look into that when I have time.Have you ever been aware of how old cars used to require double de-clutching and more the one gearstick, and worse, to change gear? No synchromesh. Really scary to drive. If the box locked up, it'd be the end of your car. I know nothing of it, but I know it used to be a nightmare like that, and now everything's so simple - 5 gears or auto gear box...Well looking at the way MS computers work today, it's still a disgrace. I see friends who spend their evenings and weekends messing with their hardware & registry, like someone fixing their car in the garage, covered in oil.Don't people just have a car that works, no worries? Why does everyone depend on Windoze when you can have a Mac?
