RAID 5 with a 10000 RPM HD

Recommended Posts

Currently I have four 500GB SATA2 drives in a RAID 5 configuration. I was wondering if I loaded the OS on an additional 10000 RPM drive, would Windows XP Pro boot up faster???? Am I better off leaving the system the way it is? Would the performance gain justify the cost? The 10K HD's are SATA 1. I really like the RAID 5 setup,it runs great.
