dinosaw
Hi all, i have a graphics card with a VGA out or RGB and a DVI output. I need my screen to show on my main PC monitor and on a Plasma. The plasma has a RGB input so i bought a DVI to RGB (or is it VGA?) adapter. I can only get it to split the screens into two. So the desktops on one screen and nothing on the other so i can move the mouse from the main monitor to the plasma. This musnt happen. I just want the desktop showing the same image on both screens. So when you open a folder for instance, it opens on BOTH screens. I have XP and media center installed and i want to use media center and control it when looking at the plasma with the remote for media center.I just cant Split the signal and get the same picture on both monitors. It just extends it.I have the main monitor on the VGA and the plasma on the DVI which is adapted to RGB (or VGA?? dunno that one)can anyone help?cheers
Scarecrow Man
Depends on which video card you use. nVidia and ATI both have a utility that lets you do this.
