MrMoreland
Hello,Im looking for a way to disable the end task button for a particular user.I have found in group policy and in the registry how to disable the Task Manager, but I want the user to be able to view the task manager but not be able to end tasks or processes. Thanks in advance.Ian
Scarecrow Man
I believe this functionality is reserved to be program specific, not policy specific. For example, you cannot end the SVCHOST.EXE task because it is required by Windows to run. This is not a policy, but simply built into windows. Chances are you cannot disable access to end tasks. You can try disabling the task manager all together, and use another program such as Process Monitor
