Nubcakes
Hey, quick question for you guys, I got a copy of Vista home premium from a friend, and used the 30 day trial. Windows has since locked me out, and now I need to go buy a copy. I really don't want or need anything in the home premium package, and would be just as happy with the home basic package. Now heres the question. Can I install the basic version over the premium version without erasing my hard drive? Thanks,Xtian

Nubcakes
What if I got another hard drive, backed up all the files that I want, and installed a new copy of Vista on the original hard drive. Would that work, and how would I go about doing that?
