warnockm Posted July 21, 2008 Report Share Posted July 21, 2008 I'm trying to install Windows XP Pro Retail slipstreamed with SP3. I get through most of the setup until its ready to start copying files, and i get an error that files can't be found. Just in case its a bad CD, i burn another copy from the image and get the same problem. i even used another copy of XP which is a volume license (should be the same files) and get the same results.The following files are said to not be found:esscli.dllfastprox.dllframedyn.dllkrnlprov.dlland many more, but i stopped writing them down. They seem to be linked to WMI?? When i click "browse" to find the file, i can see the file on the CD. I even right clicked on the file and copied it to the C:\ during the installation and pointed it to the copy on the HD to no avail.Any ideas why it can't see the files right in front of it?
