SBS 2003 & Vista

OK where do I start. I've set up a SBS network using Windows SBS 2003 and 3 Vista machines (2 Business & 1 Ultimate)

At competely random times the network just seems to lock itself up on individual machines and prevents any access to shared files although the emails and internet all work perfectly.

When I try and access the Network and Sharing Center it's completely blank and just crashes. If I try and open an Excel spreadsheet the first page opens then excel crashes. This is repeated in Word.

The workaround I have come up with involves adding the local service account to the local admins group and rebooting but this only works for a short while and I envitably have to go through the same routine again.

I've trawled the web for an answer but I can't find anything similar and was wondering if anyone had come across a similar issue?

Help please.
