I would like to enlarge the video imaging of an AVI file, keeping viewing clarity the same, such as doubling the horizontal and vertical pixel lengths (keeping the video looking original). I.E. converting a 600 X 440 to 1200 X 880 without changing playback parameters (such as zoom (leaving it 100%))

I realize the file would be much larger, but that's fine. What is a good video converter that does this (I'm weel-versed in using CNET.COM, and other sites to look for software; I just haven't done it yet and don't want to get a converter that might have incorrect conversion algorithyms

Thank you.

Thanks. I would have thought for sure there was software; maybe there is, but maybe not if developers are concerned public reaction would be negative due to the increased (much increased) file size)

you could run it on small flash drives as a video such as mpeg, avi and others. great way to spread a video if your creating stuff. also podcast tv and youtube will be good places to start. then you can enlarge it depending on the quality to begin with digitally. I would ask @ afterdawn. they can help you :)

Yes, you can do it. Just use this free video to flash converter, open the program>>import your .avi file to the program>>click "settings" button>>in the "Profile" window, in "video size", you can set the horizontal and vertical pixel lengths of the video>>done! Hopefully it can help you.

thanks. i'll look into this.
