Firefox And Norton 360 2.0

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone,

I use Firefox as my standard web-browser and I just installed Norton 360 2.0 and as soon as that happened

I am experiencing a small problem with Firefox, every time I close the program it still remains in the Task

manager processes tab and whenever I start it up without manually shutting down the process it starts up and

the page rendering screen is just blank, I'm not 100% sure if it's related to Norton but it seems so.

Any help is much appreciated and thank you in advance.

Quite a few on here have tried Norton at some stage and regretted it. In my case I was a fan until it gave me trouble, and then it took several e mails from Symantec and several removal tools to finally get rid of it. I was not completely happy until I formatted the C drive and reinstalled Windows. I can only suggest that you try uninstalling it and then follow up by deleting all files and folders appertaining to Symantec or Norton and see if that solves the problem. Alternatively, have you tried a system restore to a time before you installed Norton, or better still do you have a mirror image that you could install? :D

Sorry to be so negative, but this type of problem has appeared on here so often thanks to Norton playing up.
