ambavaram Posted September 4, 2008 Report Share Posted September 4, 2008 I had installed windows xp sp2 after installed that operating system i have given the administrator password to the user aparting that i have created one user which i had created limited after long time he called up and asking me what is our(user's administrator) administrator.How can i remember that password for long time now that customer was to get back the administrator password how to get it back that administrator password with out reinstalling the operating system. Scarecrow Man Posted September 4, 2008 Report Share Posted September 4, 2008 Unfortunately without a password reset disk or the original password, it is quite difficult to recover. Often best method is to format and install fresh. But this time make a password disk.Unfortunately Windows Forum cannot provide or link to tools that allow changing of the Administrators password as this is a security risk and this is a public forum.
