KeithA45
Hey guys,I know this many be a pretty simple question, but my friend needs help and I don't know how to do this: My friend's relative lost her password to sign onto XP, and needs to get onto it. We're not sure if she's an administrator or not, but we think she isn't. However, there definitely is another administrator on the computer. I'm sure I could figure it out if I was there, but my schedule makes that impossible, so my friend has to try on her own and I'd like to give her instructions on how to do it.What's the method for changing a user's forgotten password from an administrator account? Does it differ at all if the account with the password that's being changed is administrator or not? Thanks, - Keith
-pops-
Sorry but as password circumvention can be used for nefarious purposes, we are unable to offer information on how to do this.
