A friend .... well more of an aquantance rang me today to see if I could figure out what was wrong with his PC. It was totally dead :huh: after a bit of heavy questioning I managed to find out that he had tried to flash his bios and had totally fried it!! :D :D No he isn't blonde and yes he is male!!!!I told him he would have to replace the bios chip or get a new mobo.... he couldn't wait for me to order him one so we went to visit a couple of local little shops.Went into one and just caught the end of the bloke taking a PC from this chap who had the blaster worm... he had taken his PC in to be cleaned!!! :o Had a nice chat with the shop bloke and bought a motherboard from him...quite reasonable actually. While I was there this other bloke came in with a rather elderly looking tower unit... he wanted the hard drive formatting and W98 reloading!!!! :huh: Well, it's not rocket science is it??
