geordie_john Posted October 6, 2008 Report Share Posted October 6, 2008 hello on my daughters laptop( with vista premium) the updates are failing and taking a long time to shutdown and bootup?also there is a msg in the tray saying no battery detected-does this mean the battery needs replacing,the laptop is about 2 years old.thank you. What is / are the error code(s)? -> Go to http://www.update.microsoft.com/ and click on 'Review your update history', then click on the link at the icon.
