We are w windows shop and we have several systems with different applications running on them. As is the nature of the beast these systems change constantly, MS patch, app patches, whatever. During each of these "downtimes" Im required to send an email to the appropriate users of the system that the system will be going down for maintenance to apply patch ###, I then send another email, downtime starting, and yet another downtime complete. Does anyone know of any applications that will help in the process to keep track of those messages so i can track my scheduled downtimes and make notifying the users simpler...?
