Mango2
Hi everyone - I'm the new guy B)I waited a while after XP SP3 came out, as I usually do before major updates. I asked a few friends about it who said they'd installed it and had no problems. Note to self - find some new friends. As soon as I installed SP3, I couldn't access the internet. I discovered that SP3 was causing issues with Kaspersky Anti-Virus; when I disabled Kaspersky, I had network access again. So I uninstalled SP3 which for the most part put things back to normal except for a few odd things.A few times a day, I won't be able to surf or check email for anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes. I will however be able to ping and use IRC. So far this problem hasn't lasted long enough for me to troubleshoot it properly - all I know is that disabling Kaspersky does not help. The second problem is about 50% of the time I cannot obtain an IP address when resuming from suspend. This issue happens both at home and at the office. No other computers in either location have this issue, and the only thing I've found that solves it is a restart. I also discovered today that I was not able to disable/enable the network adapter when this issue occurred. If anyone can point me in the right direction on either of these, that would be super. Many thanks, Mango
