Sashikumaran Sikkan Posted November 9, 2008 Report Share Posted November 9, 2008 Hi and hello to everyone.I keep on receiving this error message " \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM" in my Windows XP computer.For the 1st time I received this message and I repaired my computer using Windows XP installation CD.After 3 to 4 days I received this kind of message back and I repaired my computer back using Windows XP installation CD.For the 3rd time the problem repeated after 1 week and I did the same thing again.Last week the problem repeated again after 5 days and I re-formated my whole system and turned off the Windows Update Service,but now the problem happening again.So,why is it like this and what should I do for this?For your information, my computer's specification is like this:-- Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2- Intel Dual Core E2160 Processor- 160GB SATA Hard Drive- SATA DVD-RW- Floppy Drive- 1GB DDR2-667 RAMPlease help me on this.
