Duplicate User Folder?

I'm running Vista 32-bit SP1.. for some reason inside my personal folder (C:/Users/Topspinwu) is another folder called Topspinwu that links to the parent folder (opening this folder goes to C:/Users/Topspinwu/Topspinwu)

The contents of both folders are exactly the same.. except I can't seem to delete the extra one since windows is treating it as an actual user folder instead of a shortcut. The hdd usage shown however is only enough for just one copy of the folder to exist.

When I click the start menu, the right side of the panel shows 2 links to "Topspinwu." Strangely though, browsing the C:/Users/Topspinwu folder in the cmd does not show the extra folder.

I used Junction Link Magic to scan my drive, which didn't pick anything up, if that's of any help.

Any idea how to get rid of this extra/duplicate users folder?

Thanks!
