verdegris Posted November 19, 2008 Report Share Posted November 19, 2008 Hello,Windows Updates no longer works on my computer even after a fresh installation of the operating system, XP Professional.When I follow the Security Center instructions for retrieveing Automatic Updates it is of no avail.This started awhile back after the appearance of a highly invasive pop-up anti-virus program offer page, VirusRemover2008, which recurs over and over no matter what I do, even after an OS reinstallation.Does anyone know whaat can be done about this?Thanks for your consideration,verdegris Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
