Hb_Kai
Just now when I started up my PC it was going really slow so I opened the Task Manager to check the processes and it's to do with the SYSTEM svchost.exe taking most of the memory and beside that is a wuaclt.exe application.I googled this and it web pages are saying it's a trojan, malware and Windows Automatic Updates. Then checked if it's in the system32 folder and the Windows Automatic Updates wuaclt.exe is there besides another wuaclt1.exe.The Windows Update icon in the task bar isn't open and I was wondering if anyone knows more about it.svchost.exe has never done this for me, I have seen this process there before but knew it was something to do with the updates and this was when I was updating windows too.Oh, I'm on XP SP2 too. :)EDIT:= Also, I use WinPatrol to monitor the services running and for any changes to the registry and nothing has come up with that. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Is it wuaclt.exe and wuaclt1.exe as you wrote in your post, or wuauclt.exe and wuauclt1.exe, as what I find in my system32 folder?

Hb_Kai
Hey, cheers. I've sorted it now. :)
Hb_Kai
It was sorted but now it's came back. They both have the same name as those in the system32 folder and I can't tell if it's them or not. The update icon isn't coming up nor is the bubble saying I have updates ready to be downloaded/installed or whatever. The wuaclt.exe and svchost.exe are both running under SYSTEM and both take up between 50 and 90K of the memory.
