Tony.W.
Each time I log on I notice an error message in event viewer "the adfs service failed to start because the system cannot find the file specified". Looking In device manager, hidden devices ,Non Plug and Play, there is a yellow exclamation mark against adfs. In properties it says This device is not present, or is not working properly, or all the drivers are not installed.I have recently installed a new 8800gt graphics card with new drivers is it possible that I may have done something wrong in which case if anybody can suggest a way to rectify this I would be very grateful. Many thanksTony. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Open the device, then use the Troubleshooting button. You can also use http://www.drivermax.com/ to find missing or outdated device drivers.
Tony.W.
Dear Irene and Pat.Firstly my apologies for the delay in replying to you both. After making my original post and in connection with my work I was away taking Christmas Market pictures.Anyway I downloaded and installed Driver Max today which detected a missing driver.Once the new driver was installed the error message went away.I am very grateful to you both for your help and assistance.Best wishesTony.
