Hb_Kai Posted December 10, 2008 Report Share Posted December 10, 2008 Sometimes in the past I have downloaded Compiled HTML files so I can go through things when I'm not online and now the time when I want one I don't know how to make them.Is there a way of saving all the webpages you want for the file and then compiling them so that all the hypertext-references work the same and everything? The trouble comes when lots of sites rely on server-side scripting that will not "compile" in HTML form and may cause rendering issues. Also, many hyperlinks in websites are relative, not absolute, so it will confuse your saved webpage. Copying a page to a local HTML file is only useful for static data like lists, not dynamic data like forums or what have you. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It keeps the hyperlinks working a-okay too. Quite good.Just wondering how they do it though.
