Guest PC Eejit Posted January 16, 2003 Report Share Posted January 16, 2003 I use a Philips Acoustic Edge soundcard.I right click the speaker icon in the taskbar.I choose "Adjust Audio Properties"I go to "Speaker Settings" and click "Advanced"I choose "5.1 Surround Sound Speakers" and click "Apply".The next time I start Windows XP - it's reset to "Desktop Stereo Speakers" :angry: :angry: :angry: I ask here for help...... :ph34r: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It tended to happen when I had been playing certain games.I used to look in "Adjust Audio Properties" and it was set to stereo or headphones.
