Problem video drivers.

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I have a weird problem booting windows.

Don't ask why but here's the truth:

- I don't have any cd drive.

- I can't reinstall nor format.

The problem is: I moved my harddrive from my old laptop to my new one and since then I can't boot because of the video drivers.

In the boot sequence, after the drivers loading, when the logon screen is TRYING to show up, the computer reboots...

So I would like to know if it is possible to change video drivers from another computer. (I can connect that drive on another computer and modify its file).

So what would I have to do?

Thanks!

Welcome to the Windows Forum.

What I would try is the following: try booting into Safe Mode, then update the video adapter driver from there (Device Manager, or Add Hardware).

I tried, and it does the same thing as when I'm booting in normal mode... :S Blue screen and reboot. And I dont have the time to read the blue screen :S

Thanks!
