Lucianobf63 Posted January 21, 2009 Report Share Posted January 21, 2009 Hi everybody,It's my first time in this forum.I have accidentaly removed some files of a pre-installed HP officejet printer on my Windows XP.Then I tryied remove program at Control Panel but parts of that doesn't brings with remove buttom.When I try re-install the printer software, the installer shows a message that "this software is allready installed" and abort the complete installation?How may I remove completely the pre-installed sw to permit me re-install that?Thanks, Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb Posted January 21, 2009 Report Share Posted January 21, 2009 Welcome to the Windows Forum.Go to the Device Manager, then uninstall the printer driver in there.Or, go to the manufacturer's website and see if a newer version of the driver is available; that should let you install it over the previous version.
